STATISTICS NAFTA * USA - DOT says surface trade with Canada, Mexico up more than 7% in January
Washington,DC,USA -Truck News, by Adam Ledlow -3 April 2008: -- Trade using surface transportation between the US and its North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) partners, Canada and Mexico, was 7.4% higher in January than in the same month last year, reaching $65.2 billion, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) of the U.S. Department of Transportation..., The value of US surface transportation trade with Canada and Mexico rose 7.0% in January from December. Month-to-month changes can be affected by seasonal variations and other factors, BTW officials said.
