Several area trucking companies reported that the price of fuel has dramatically increased over the past few months... They said the average price for a gallon of fuel had increased 18 cents in just the past week... According to several independent operators, the increase is making it hard to do business... One trucker from Lebanon County, Mark Kirsch, is planning a protest this weekend near Harrisburg... Kirsch is also planning a protest near Washington, D.C... Kirsch said, if his protest doesn't provoke changes, it could lead to truck drivers taking a few days off...
