Dublin,Ireland -NGV Ireland -15 Mar 2008: -- A number of trucks were seized by Gardai at Dublin Port earlier this week as part of a new EI wide road safety initiative... Under the new initiative police across Europe are checking HGVs to make sure that vehicles are road worthy and that drivers aren’t in breach of their driving hours... Under the new initiative hauliers can expect to face checks at border crossings and all major roads across Europe...
