Ottawa,Ont,CAN -Truck News, by Lou Smyrlis -10 Sept 2007: -- Canada’s top 97 for-hire motor carriers (Canadian-based trucking companies earning $25 million or more annually) generated operating revenues of $2.5 billion and operating expenses of $2.4 billion in the second quarter, according to Statistics Canada... Average per-carrier revenues and expenses decreased slightly from the second quarter of 2006. Per-carrier revenues decreased 1.3% to $26.0 million and per-carrier expenses declined 0.5% to $24.5 million...
