TRUCKS' PARKING SHORTAGE * USA - No Truck Parking
Staunton,V,USA -whsv, by Shane Symolon -Aug 12, 2007: -- Staunton is taking a look at laws that prevent trucks from parking on the side of the road. Residents don't want big rigs in their neighborhoods... City Councilman Dickie Bell says he's been getting a lot of complaints. He says the current law is confusing, and needs to be made clear both to the police and the truckers. Bell says it's the trucking companies that should provide parking... But truckers say, when they come home, on some nights, they have no where to park...
