With the number of big trucks expected to double in the next few years, the nation's highways and interstates will be clogged with trafficGA,USA -WDEF News 12 (Chattanooga,TN), by Kristen Johnson -May 6, 2007: -- ... The Georgia Department of Transportation is proposing one idea to break the gridlock, creating truck only lanes... The Georgia DOT says the plan is to add lanes, not take over existing ones. They expect a study on the idea to be complete later this year... The DOT will hold several statewide meetings to get comments on the truck-only lane idea...
