Group of 30 troopers pulls over about 350 trucks to inspect for violations

Wilmington,NC,USA -The Wilmington Morning Star, by Ken Little -14 May 2007: -- Commercial trucks rolling in and out of the Port of Wilmington are the focus this week of an enforcement effort that is part safety inspection detail, part homeland security exercise... The N.C. Highway Patrol is the lead agency, assisted by the Coast Guard and U.S. Customs. Troopers were called in from across the state to participate, said Sgt. Michael Dunn, in charge of motor carrier enforcement for Troop B, which encompasses local counties...
