There’s a new player in the roadway privatization game in the U.S.
Grain Valley,MO,USA -Land Line Magazine -Jan 30, 2007: -- Spanish company Indra just won an $18 million contract to upgrade the open-tolling system on the Indiana Toll Road and build two control centers... The contract was awarded in Indra by the Spanish and Australian consortium that now operates the toll road on a 75-year lease... Indra specializes in information technology and defense, and has done work for more than a decade for the U.S. Navy, according to the press release...
