Intelligent Transportation Systems - Canada - Queens Park, Ottawa to fund it
Toronto,Ont,CAN -Truck News, by James Menzies -30 Nov 2006: -- The province of Ontario and the feds are combining to fund intelligent transportation systems (ITS), including one aimed at improving the flow of goods on the province's highways.The two levels of government are spending a combined total of $930,000 on the projects... One of the ITS projects involves exploring changes in the movement of goods by commercial vehicles so government can call upon the most up-to-date information when determining what truck routes require investments... The other ITS projects receiving funding are targeted at commuters and users of public transit systems...
