OTTAWA,Ont,Canada -Today's Trucking -1 Nov 2006: -- A new Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) penalty for trucking carriers has been added by Canada Border Services... Introduced Oct. 22, contravention C368 will be applied when a carrier fails to report the conveyance in writing, before export, at the export reporting office closest to each place of loading... This penalty will be applied against the carrier whose conveyance is transporting the goods from Canada...
