DETROIT, Mich.,USA -Truck News (Canada), by Steven Macleod -9 Aug 2006: -- The first in-use emissions test on the Detroit Diesel Series 60 heavy-duty engine have indicated the engine is in good standing with the standards set by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)... The EPA mandates emissions standards must be demonstrated over the useful life of the engine, which is 435,000 miles for heavy-duty diesel engines...
