Multi-level challenges face trucking

Jobs created directly and indirectly by trucking include the drivers of some 14,000 trucks, as well as mechanics, truck dealers, warehouse workers and office staff working for 400 to 450 trucking companies in the province... Even more income is generated in Manitoba by a related sector - a transportation equipment manufacturing industry that builds semi trailers, motor homes, buses and a wide variety of equipment parts...
