Reiskin -17 Nov 2005: -- Strong third-quarter earnings and solid prospects for the final three months of the year have generated a rebound in trucking stocks, many of which had fallen during the middle of 2005... Fleet executives might still worry about high fuel prices, a shortage of drivers and the new 2007 engines, but from July through September those at larger carriers also managed to turn a profit by getting fuel surcharges to stick and guarding progress that has recently been made in basic freight rates...
