Helping - Canada - DaimlerChrysler to Get C$126 Mln Funding
Ottawa,,CAN -Bloomberg -21 Nov 2005: -- DaimlerChrysler AG, the world's No. 5 carmaker, will get about C$126 million ($106 million) in loans from governments in Canada to help finance its Canadian operations... The federal government will contribute C$46 million and the province of Ontario C$80 million, said Ian Jack, a spokesman for Industry Minister David Emerson... The loans will be part of an C$800 million investment by the company in its Canadian plants, Jack told reporters in Ottawa today...
