Sales - USA - MACK reports July deliveries up 45% over a year ago
Company still running a second shift at plant in Lower Macungie.
Allentown, PA,USA -The Morning Call, by Dan Shope-- -Aug 26 2005: -- Mack Trucks on Thursday reported 2,820 deliveries of heavy-duty trucks in July, up 45 percent compared with a year ago.... But deliveries dropped 19 percent from 3,479 in June... The company blamed the hot market earlier in the year, which produced delivery numbers not seen since the late 1990s...
