Sales - China - China's Top Ten Automakers Sell Over 3 MLN Vehicles in Jan-Aug
BEIJING,China -Asia Pulse -Sept 16 2005 : -/ China's top ten automakers sold a combined 3.0359 million units of vehicles in Jan-Aug this year, accounting for 83.40 per cent of the national total, according to the latest statistics released by the China Automotive Industry Association (CAIA)... Statistics showed that the of the top five sellers, China First Automotive Works Group (FAW) came out first with a sale topping 603,900 units. It was followed by the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp (SAIC) with a sale of 547,500 units, Dongfeng Motor Corp with a sale of 473,800 units, the Changan Auto with a sale of 409,500 units, and the Beijing Automobile Industry Corp with a sale of 394,900 units...
