SECURITY - USA - D.O.T. Inspecting Trucks, Drivers Not Happy
Des Moines,IA,USA, -WHO-TV -June 8 2005 - The Department of Transportation is taking action to get dangerous trucks and drivers off Iowa's roads. The Iowa D.O.T. is looking for hazardous materials, trucks that are in need of repair and unlicensed drivers... Truck drivers are upset about the inspections. We talked to more than a dozen this morning. We didn't find one in who is in favor of inspection. The problem is time is money to these drivers. The more hours spent on the road is more money in their pocket. The inspections slow them...
