BUSINESS * Pakistan - First Pakistani truck in 42 years crosses into India at Wagah

* Drivers will not need visa, international driver’s licence to cross border
Lahore,Pakistan -The Daily Times, by Hasan Ali -4 Oct 2007: -- Cross-border trade between India and Pakistan has resumed after 42 years. Three Pakistani trucks, carrying sweet melons and dry fruit from Afghanistan, entered India and 15 Indian trucks carrying tomatoes entered Pakistan through Wagah border on Wednesday... Cross-border trade between the two countries began after authorities concerned signed an agreement last month. Each Pakistani truck carried 500 crates of sweet melons and dry fruit...
