TRUCKING PRICES * France - General decline in 2nd Q 2016

* Paris - Slight rebound in some sectors

--- The price index of freight released by the Ministry revealed a decline for all modes of transport in Q2 2016, compared to the same period of 2015. The change compared to the 1st quarter however shows a progression for road and sea... No major increase in view of the price of transportation . Year on year, the indices are trending down, whatever the mode, show the cargo price indices and warehousing published by the statistical service of the Ministry... The most spectacular falls back to the overseas: air cargo transport prices as maritime decline of 6.4% in Q2 2016 compared to the same period in 2015... As for land modes, the river also shows a significant decline (- 2.6%), when the rail and road limit their respective erosion - 1.9% - 1.1%. Prices for mail and express freight, finally, decrease of 0.8%... Looking at price developments of the second quarter compared to the first three months of the year , three sectors were up: the sea (+ 1.2%), road (+ 0.7%), and modestly express-mail (+ 0.2%). Not enough to achieve a lasting upward trend, however...
