STRIKE * India: Indian dockworkers threaten nationwide strike for early March

-- A nationwide indefinite dockworker strike is planned to start March 9 in India, threatening to disrupt the country’s transport systems when port volumes see a turnaround. Labor federations, representing dockers and port workers at 12 major cargo hubs... The strike has been called against the unilateral decision of the Shipping Ministry to corporatise the country's major ports, a release by Transport and Dock Workers' Union, Mumbai said...
