TRUCKMAKERS' NEWS * Germany - MAN plans to control consumption with the MAN TGX EfficientLine

Efficient Line has been specially designed to provide optimum aerodynamics

Brussels,Belgium -Truck & Business, by Julie Widart -19 Jan 2011: -- At the Show, MAN will present version of TGX optimized in terms of consumption. Based on a TGX 18.440 4x2 BLS XLX cab, already have an aerodynamic optimum (spoiler and skirts cabin) and the new Eco Intarder (reducing friction when the vehicle is stationary), MAN expects to offer a significant reduction in average consumption by applying the following measures:


* New more powerful alternator,
* new management system the air pressure switch off,
* daytime running lights,
* Low consumption
* rims and aluminum tanks,
* Low resistance tires
* control system pressure.
