New York,NY,USA -Logistics Management -10 Feb 2010: -- In a joint letter to U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, the (NITL) The National Industrial Transportation League joined with other organizations in relaying their opposition to efforts to re-write long standing federal trucking rules that are set out and codified under the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act (FAAAA)... In its communication, the group said it strongly supports the goals and most elements of the clean truck initiatives, but is opposed to the method of making changes in long-standing rules governing federal trucking through the FAAAA...
