Agreement With Five States to Relieve Congestion
Washington,DC,USA -Federal Highway Administration Release -16 Jan 2009: -- The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has signed an agreement with the Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia departments of transportation to bring congestion relief along a 1,054 mile stretch of the 1,917-mile-long I-95 corridor from Florida to Virginia... "We are proactively encouraging states to focus on relieving congestion on corridors that are critical to the nation's economy and America's businesses," says Transportation Secretary Mary Peters.
