ELECTRIC VEHICLES * USA - PennDOT Gives Dealer Green Light to Sell ZAP

Lititz,Pa,USA -MarketWatch -Oct 03, 2008: -- Mike Cronin, owner of Lititz Car Company, announced the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has given the green light to sell a new 40 MPH electric car and truck from ZAP... Cronin said ZAP cars and trucks have generated sales interest since arriving at his dealership this summer... Xebra sedans and trucks are classified as motorcycles under Federal motor vehicle standards. These plug-in vehicles have a top speed of 40 MPH and are designed to recharge at any household outlet. With an MSRP starting at $11,700, ZAP designed the vehicles to be economical and practical for in-town driving...
