Trucks in Mexico by and large are 12 years old or older

According to statistics released by the Mexico Secretary of Transportation and Highways... The statistics reported that only 24 percent of the trucks used in Mexico were made since 1996... Of the 76 percent of the trucks that are 12 years or older, a “large percentage” – nearly one-third – is between 17 and 27 years old reported... According to statistics from the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association Foundation, the average age of units owned by OOIDA members is right around 6 years old.
