* Italy - Iveco fit anti-theft laser technology to van, truck and bus range
Turin,Italy -TNN (UK) -31 July 2007: -- All Iveco vehicles, from 3.2 tonne Daily panel vans through to 44 tonne Stralis tractor units, are to be fitted with the latest vehicle glass and component security etching, marking and registration systems by Retainagroup... The new security systems are also being rolled out across all vehicles sold in the UK by Irisbus, Iveco's passenger transport division... Iveco will security mark the windows and major components of all vans, trucks and buses as original equipment and register vehicle and owner details on the International Security Register (ISR)...

London,UK -TNN -1 Aug 2007: -- Designer and manufacturer of bespoke plant transportation vehicles, SHAWtrack Services, has taken delivery of a further 12 new Euro 4 Renault Premium 370.26s... The Euro 4 Renault Premiums will be fitted with low profile beavertail bodies to be used by SHAWtrack's hire service arm, SHAWhire. The new trucks are part of the company's expansion and replacement programme, taking the place of its existing MAN vehicles. The reason for the move towards more Renaults was cited as the "far superior service network" provided by Renault Trucks, both in terms of after sales and back-up...

The Munich-based company said net profit in the second quarter came in at EUR440 million, from EUR198 million in the same period last year, but below analysts' estimates of EUR591 million...
