* Germany - Daimler mulls new trucks plant in eastern Europe

While the heavy trucks market in the US is showing some signs of weakness, it the European market is exploding... To meet demand in the region, rival truck maker MAN is planning to build a new factory in Poland with annual capacity of 15,000 trucks...

* USA - Mack introduces multi-function navigational radio

The R5000 fits into a standard in-dash radio slot and has a seven-inch colour LCD screen to display information. The display is designed to allow drivers to view vehicle performance and safety information on one display in order to reduce driver distraction...
