Truckers assisting in the relief efforts in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa who are hauling relief supplies and personnel won’t be subject to hours-of-service and a few other regs in Missouri – at least until Saturday, June 9... The Missouri Motor Carrier Services Division of the Department of Transportation issued an emergency declaration May 9. The declaration waives the hours-of-service regulations; some aspects of regulations governing over-dimension/overweight loads; and fuel or trip permits for travel in Missouri...
