Abbotsford,British Columbia,Canada -The Abbotsford News, by SHEENA JACKSON -Feb 1 2007: -- Fraser Valley traffic police are appealing to truck drivers to drive more responsibly... “Commercial vehicles are one of the more dangerous elements on our roads today,” said Staff Sgt. Bob Beaudoin of Fraser Valley Traffic Services (FVTS)... Truck drivers can expect to see more police checks on the roads to make sure their vehicles meet the proper standards. “The commercial vehicle industry has our attention and we are concentrating our efforts on that aspect.”... Beaudoin also explained that because drivers are pressured to deliver their loads on time, many drive more hours than legally allowed...Labels: maintenance
