* TNT Logistics wins tyre contract from Pirelli in Australia
Australia -Anexa research -19 Dec 2005: Pirelli Tyres Australia recently awarded their domestic logistics activity to TNT Logistics for a minimum 3 year period... Under the terms of the Agreement, TNT Logistics will service Pirelli's customer base from a central warehouse in Sydney with cross dock facilities established in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane...

Geraldton, Australia -Geraldton News, by Beatrice Thomas -22 Dec 2005: Planning and Infrastructure Minister Alannah MacTiernan on Monday announced that any company wishing to truck iron ore within 100 kilometres of an operational rail line would have to apply for a special licence which would only be granted if rail transportation was not a viable option... Iron ore company Midwest Corporation, which had the largest trucking program at an estimated 80 truck movements per day from its Koolanooka mine site to Geraldton Port, will also have its licence granted only until October next year...
