USA - Fleet Owner -Nov 2005: -- Eaton Corp. has confirmed a 7 to 19% fuel economy advantage for its Fuller UltraShift HV (Highway Value) medium-duty transmission over conventional automatics based on recent independent tests done under SAE standards... The tests, conducted by an independent firm, showed that in an urban setting requiring numerous stops and starts, the UltraShift HV transmission delivered fuel economy savings of up to 19%. The UltraShift HV transmission delivered 7.5% improved fuel economy in the SAE test protocol for on-highway operation...
