Safety - USA - 56 Percent of Trucks Fail Inspections
LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va.,USA -WTOP Radio, by Mitchell Miller/wtopnews, by Emily Eckland ,Nov. 15, 2005: -- More than half of inspected trucks in Loudoun County have safety violations, and police say that number is normal... Some trucks fail inspection because of insufficient tire treads or load violations, but others are failing because the drivers do not have the proper licenses or are driving trucks with faulty breaks... A series of inspections near South Riding and Ashburn on Nov. 8 showed that 56 percent trucks inspected had safety violations...
