Costs - Germany - Volkswagen, employees cut costs
WOLFSBURG, Germany -The Detroit News (Det,Mich,USA) -9 Nov 2005: -- Volkswagen AG reached an agreement with employees at its main factory in Wolfsburg, Germany, to cut costs and help avert production cuts. Under the deal, workers will forgo 20-minute breaks, saving the company $59 million annually, VW said... The company plans to build 390,000 vehicles at the plant next year...
