USA - Reuters - 22 Sept 2005 :-(( The National Transportation Safety Board is recommending that teenagers learning to drive be banned from using cell phones and other wireless devices. The agency's concern comes from several studies, that show that highway accidents are a leading cause of death for teenagers and that cell phone use is increasing in that age group... Accidents resulted in the deaths of about 64,000 teenagers from 15 to 20 years old in the past decade, with half of the deaths occurring at night. Reuters adds that cell phone use by younger drivers rose to 8 percent last year, up from only 3 percent in 2000...
