Back in Japan, Isuzu is concentrating on what it knows best: Mid- and heavy-duty trucks with diesel engines. Isuzu has been building diesels since 1936. It's a bit confounding that GM hasn't been able to take more and better advantage of that expertise and production capacity beyond the Duramax truck diesels, in the way that Jeep is using European-built diesels in its Liberty...
