Deliveries of trucks to dealers in May up 49% from last year.
Allentown,PA,USA -Allentown Morning Call, by Dan Shope -18/6/2005: -- Mack Trucks overcame an industrywide shortage of steel and tires to deliver more than 3,000 trucks in May, the Allentown truckmaker said Friday... It was a 49 percent increase over May 2004, and nearly surpassed the 3,193 trucks delivered in March. Only twice have deliveries to dealers passed 3,000 since the late 1990s...
