RECALLS - AUSTRALIA - Holden recalls 22,000 trucks after burns
New South Wales,Australia -Sydney Morning Herald (subscription) -Jun 25 2005: -- Holden is recalling 22,000 imported Rodeo light trucks in Australia and New Zealand, after 19 incidents in which people have been burned when a mixture of petrol vapour and air was ignited by static electricity during refuelling... The static electricity is generated by petrol coming through the bowser filler hose, and if a spark occurs it can ignite the fuel vapour and air mixture flowing from the vehicle's fuel tank...
