UK - Auto INDUSTRY - 09/05/05: -- US producers lobby through Congress for retaliation against Chinese and Japanese trading threat... Forty-seven members of Congress led by a Michigan representative have written to President Bush asking the US administration to target both China and Japan’s ‘currency manipulation’... The Sound Dollar Coalition, a manufacturers' group that had focused complaints in recent months on China, is also broadening its campaign by insisting that currency manipulation by other Asian trading partners must also be tackled.
