LANGLEY, B.C. (April 11, 2005) -- The government of B.C. has published load securement penalties in preparation for the new standard effective July 1, 2005... The new rules mean truckers must follow a new set of tie-down standards. Cargo must be immobilized or secured so that it can't: leak; spill; blow; fall from the vehicle; fall through the vehicle; or otherwise become dislodged, shift upon or within the vehicle so that the vehicle's stability or maneuverability is affected... http://www.todaystrucking.com/displayarticle.cfm?ID=3935
