Hong Kong -The Standard,by Carol Chan -April 7 2005: -- Weichai Power, one of China's largest diesel-engine manufacturers, plans to seek new markets in shipping, power generation and buses to offset slowing growth in its core business of supplying engines for trucks... Sales of heavy-duty diesel engines capable of hauling loads of eight tons or more grew 12.6 percent to 1.3 million units last year, Tan said.
