Middletown,NY,USA -Times Herald-Record,by Michael Randall -March 28, 2005: -- Newburgh – Last fall, the handful of residents on Putnam Road decided they'd had enough... of the tractor-trailers parking overnight in the lot outside the closed Ames store next-door... of being awakened at 1 or 2 a.m. by the "beep-beep-beep" of a backing-up truck... of smelling the air clogged with diesel fumes from trucks revving their engines constantly...
