JORDAN - Record of trucks loaded at Aqaba Port
AQABA (Petra) - Jordan Times - 19/12/2004 — The number of trucks loaded at Aqaba Port on Thursday was a record 511 for the first time since 1952, according to the Danish APM Terminals Company entrusted with operating and developing the Aqaba Port's containers terminal. A company official said the waiting period for ships at the port has dropped from 128 hours at the beginning of the current year to only four hours at present.
