* Södertälje - Truck maker says a new range of truck swill be unveiled in August

---  Providing few details, Scania has announced it will launch "its new truck generation" for the European long-haulage segment on August 23... Simultaneously celebrating its 125th anniversary, Scania says the launch will be the "public debut of the largest ever investment in new products and services" by the company... "The common denominator is that Scania has developed a broad range of tailored products and service solutions, which help to reduce operating and maintenance costs, and also to boost vehicle uptime" ... Hoping to define itself as the leading manufacturer in sustainable transport, Scania’s executive vice president sales and marketing Christian Levin says: "At the moment, we are not providing any further information about the many innovations, which are in store" ...
