* The Belgium's Carriers of the Year 2012

* From Ninove, Belgium:  Remitrans as  the Carrier of the Year 2012
The election of the Carrier of the Year aims to crown a transport company for third parties particularly remarkable for the excellence of its management, its market approach, and its social approach its innovative approach in the areas of safety or the environment...

* From Zeebruges, Belgium: DD Trans won the Transportation Safety Award 2012
Security of transport operations, whether carried out for own account or for third parties, has become an indispensable component of a successful asset management. The immediate interest of the company are joined societal concerns. * From Gent Area, Belgium: Tailormade Transport awarded the 2012 Green Truck Award

The Green Truck Award aims to highlight initiatives to better respect the environment, is another aspect of the evolution experienced in the heavy transport sector. The goal is to crown the company that best integrated the environmental dimension in its fleet management and its corporate philosophy in general.

Eindhoven,The Netherlands -Irish Trucker (Ireland) -17 February 2012: -- The DAF European Technician of the Year 2012 Award has been won by Rinze Louwsma of Cosmo Bolsward, the Netherlands... The European final, which consisted of ten parts, took place at DAF Trucks in Eindhoven...  At the European finals, the finalists demonstrated their skills on four theoretical components and in six practical cases in which they had to solve malfunctions on the engine, electronic systems and driveline...
