Oregon currently allows a driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle after taking eight consecutive hours off duty. The proposed rule would require the driver to take 10 consecutive hours off duty before operating a CMV... Oregon currently allows a driver to operate on a time card rather than a record-of-duty status (log) if he stays with a 100 air-mile radius of the starting point and returns to the starting point within 16 hours. The proposed rule would require the driver to stay within the 100 air-mile radius and to return to the starting point within 12 consecutive hours...
