Canada - Bigger trucks could mean smaller prices up the road
Winnipeg,Manitoba,Canada -Winnipeg CBC News -Jun 13 2006: -- Provincial transportation officials hope a move to allow larger trucks on Highway 6 will reduce the cost of food in remote northern communities... The province has had a ban on "Rocky Mountain Doubles" on the highway, which heads north from Winnipeg, winding 750 kilometres through the Interlake to Thompson. A rule change will allow the big trucks, which pull one 12-metre trailer and one eight-metre one...
