Recalls II ? - USA - DaimlerChrysler may recall 210,000 sedans
Washington DC,USA -The Detroit News -15 Nov 2005: -- DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler unit faces an upgraded investigation and possible recall of 210,000 sedans from 1999 and 2000 because of reports of engine fires, a U.S. auto-safety agency said... The inquiry covers Dodge Stratus, Dodge Cirrus and Plymouth Breeze cars, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on its Web site... In separate initial actions, the agency said it is investigating air bags on about 410,000 of the company's 2005 minivans and possible electrical or transmission flaws in 228,000 Mercedes-Benz cars from 2000 and 2001...
