TRUCKS' SALES * USA: Up 36% from July
* Indiana - FTR: August Class 8 orders lowest since 2010
--- August preliminary Class 8 truck orders increased 36 percent from the previous month to 14,000, but the total represents the weakest August since 2010, according to a report today from transportation analyst firm FTR. Orders dropped 35 percent from August 2015. Class 8 orders for the past 12 months totaled 206,000, FTR reported... “Fleets are now busy evaluating their truck requirements for 2017 in an uncertain freight environment.
